Our works

Trasfor manufactures burls, veneers and panels made with fine woods to serve the Interior Design, Automotive, Yacht, and Aircraft sectors. We provide our customers with a variety of services, such as the fine woods’ supplying, the selection of the finest raw materials, and their artisanal and dedicated manufacture.

Supply of fine woods and raw materials

Trasfor can supply you with fine woods and raw materials after rigorous research aimed at the selection of the highest quality woods in the market. Our main woods are California Walnut Burl, Bird’s Eye Maple, Curly Maple, Italian Olivewood and Madrone Burl. On the basis of our clients’ requests we can supply them with the other fine woods that are presented in the section Our Woods.

Logs slicing or peeling

In collaboration with our proficion partners specialised in raw logs harvesting and supplies, we carefully select/obtain our high quality natural woods, and start the slicing or peeling process from different structures and granes of cuts, these diversity allow us to produce: slices of, crown veneer, rift veneer, semi-crown veneer, rotary, or peeled veneers.

Service of grading and selection

We grade and select the finest raw materials to satisfy our customers’ needs. We rigorously select the finest woods with an exclusive approach that quality is our prior. We work closely with our clients to find the finest burls and veneers of grades (A & B) for their luxurious projects. We specialize in solutions for the interior design, automotive, yacht, and aircraft sectors. A special dimension and (AA) grades of veneer panels can be produced upon request.

Cutting to measure and jointing

On the requests of our clients, we realize cutting to measure projects. We produce layons panels with our burls and veneers. Our decorative panels are ready to use and to be applied on different surfaces. Thickness 0.55 mm – Customized measurements, in interior decor, luxurious furniture, and wall cladding.

Dyeing of veneers

We dye veneers according to customers request, the dyeing service available in the all RAL European colours chart, dyeing process appear the grains structure and display the decorative aspect of natural veneers, perfectly suit every application, and in order to obtain colours that resemble nature and are healthy, we use water-based colours, follow the full immersion technique to absorb the colours composition into the pores deep within the grains.

Control of products and packaging quality

We test the thickness and humidity of the finished products, and we package them using safety measures and traceability systems.

INLAY

We offer Inlay service, in collaboration with our Inlay specialized business partners, and upon request of our clients: INLAY is an ancient artistint hand work obtains by combination of small pieces of our natural wood veneers multicolour or natural colour to create a unique decorative panels, also; our customers can request a custom sign for them to commemorat a special occasion for themselves or their loved ones, mainly used in palaces, yachts, private planes and luxury cars.

A VIEW ON OUR PRODUCTION SITE IN MISANO GERA D’ADDA

Our production site in Misano Gera d’Adda (BG) is dedicated to the production of our layers for the fit-out, furnishings, and Automotive Interior Design sectors. We are involved in productive processes that comprehend veneers pressing, accurate clipping, cutting to measure, and joinery. We scrupulously carry out the cutting process to trim and head the material with precision, with the aim of making the veneer seam imperceptible once it has been spliced to size. Measurements and joinery processes are customized based on our customers’ preferences.
